Unrefreshing sleep

Recurrent awakening at night or restless sleep

Morning headaches

These symptoms cause fatigue, tiredness, Irritability, Mood changes, forgetfulness, reduced work efficiency and sometime depression as well.

Untreated sleep disorders can raise risk for heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, and other medical conditions. Sleep disorders also have been linked to an increased risk of injury and car accidents. The primary objective test for obstructive sleep apnea is polysomnography, also referred to as sleep study.

Sleep study involves spending minimum of one night at the sleep center. Sleep Studies lab at PLI offers silent and soothing ambiance to help sound sleep for patients under observation with highly trained Sleep Studies technicians who monitor the sleeping pattern of the patient. During your study, electrodes are attached to your body that transmit and record your sleep patterns and specific information about your physical activities, such as breathing, brain waves, heart activity and eye and muscle movements while you sleep. The recordings become data, which is analyzed by our Pulmonologist to determine the nature of your sleep disorder.
